Phone Number Setup

Manage phone numbers for Atlas Blue campaigns

Every Atlas Blue Campaign requires a dedicated phone number.

Linking a Phone Number

Select from Available Phone Numbers to link to your campaign.

Getting a New Phone Number

  • iMessage primary with SMS or RCS fallback
  • Specify Region and Zip Code for a local number
  • Billing: monthly, quarterly, or yearly

Choosing a ZIP code

When a new Atlas Blue number is provisioned for you, you’ll be sent a link to the Atlas Blue number claim page. From there:

  1. Enter the 5-digit ZIP code you’d like your number based near, or skip to receive any available number.
  2. A best-effort suggestion may pre-fill the ZIP field based on your location.
  3. Click Provision number, or choose Any available number is fine to skip the ZIP preference.

Only exact 5-digit ZIP codes are accepted (for example 94105). ZIP+4 is not supported.

The page shows one of four states once it loads:

StatusMeaning
Awaiting ZIPSubmit a ZIP code, or opt out, to provision your number.
In progressYour number is being provisioned — you can close the page.
ProvisionedYour Atlas Blue number is ready.
Not applicableNo ZIP code is needed for this account.

Once provisioning finishes, the number appears in your Atlas Blue campaign dashboard automatically.

Fallback Channels

When a contact is not reachable on iMessage, Atlas falls back to SMS or RCS depending on your plan:

ChannelUse
SMSTwo-way conversations. Carriers filter content that looks like marketing and may not deliver it.
RCSRecommended fallback for outbound campaigns. Provides delivery and read receipts, and covers Android.

Activation Timeline

Provisioning takes up to 24 hours. You’ll receive an email when ready.

New numbers start in a warm-up period with reduced daily limits for the first 8 days after activation. See Sending Limits & Queue.
