# Phone Number Integration

Learn how to add a phone number to your AI agent. In this video, you'll learn how to:

* Access the integration section to add a phone number
* Search for available numbers by city or area code
* Select a local phone number from the results

## Supported Providers

The phone number integration modal offers three ways to connect a number.
Availability depends on your account configuration.

| Provider                    | How it works                                                                               |
| --------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Twilio** (bring your own) | Paste the Account SID and Auth Token for a number you already own. |
| **Telnyx** (bring your own) | Paste your Telnyx API key and account public key, plus the E.164 number you own on Telnyx. |
| **SIP trunking** | Point an existing carrier trunk at Atlas. See [SIP Trunking](sip-trunking). |

### Searching for a Telnyx Number

If your account is set up with Telnyx as its telephony provider, **Get a number**
searches the Telnyx pool. You can narrow the results by:

* **Country** — United States or Canada
* **City**
* **State or province**
* **Area code**

Searches run server-side, so your browser never handles a provider credential.

### Bringing Your Own Telnyx Account

1. Select **Telnyx** from the provider list.
2. Paste your **Telnyx API key**. It's treated as a password and is not shown back to you.
3. Paste your **account public key** — in the Telnyx portal, under **Account Settings > Keys & Credentials**.
4. Enter the **phone number** you own on Telnyx, in E.164 format (for example `+15551234567`).

Atlas validates the key, provisions the call-control application and outbound
voice profile in your Telnyx account on first use, and links the number to your
campaign.
