# First Message Rules

## Do NOT include in your first message

* Currency symbols (`$499`, `$4k`)
* Links or URLs
* Phone numbers
* Email addresses

## After they reply, restrictions are lifted

Once a two-way conversation is established, you can send links, pricing, and anything else.

## Cheat Sheet

**DO:** Ask a question, use their first name, keep it short (2-3 lines), use line breaks.

**DON'T:** Include dollar amounts, drop a link, include phone numbers/emails, send a wall of text.
