# FAQ

**Can I send more than one message per contact in a session?**
Yes. The 15-minute spacing applies to contacts who have never replied. Within active conversations, send multiple messages freely.

---

**Does a follow-up to someone who hasn't replied count as a new contact?**
Yes. Any message to a contact who has never replied is treated as a new conversation initiation and uses a 15-minute slot, regardless of how many times you have messaged them before.

---

**Is the 1,000 contacts per day a hard limit?**
It is a recommendation from Apple rather than a hard block, but exceeding it increases the risk of your number being flagged. For most accounts the 15-minute initiation rule is the binding constraint well before this number is reached.

---

**Do the limits reset each month?**
There is no monthly quota. Limits are evaluated on a rolling 24-hour basis and per message interval.

---

**Can I send outside 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM?**
Outbound initiations are held to the sending window to protect deliverability and avoid Report Junk. Replies to inbound messages are not restricted by the window.

---

**What happens if my message gets blocked?**
Atlas Blue automatically re-queues it. No action needed.

---

**What happens if I submit more messages than my daily capacity?**
Nothing is rejected. Messages queue and send as slots open inside the sending window. Messages that become eligible after 9:00 PM are held until 9:00 AM the next day.

---

**Can I include a link in a follow-up if they haven't replied?**
No. Content restrictions stay until the contact replies.

---

**Why are these limits necessary?**
Atlas Blue runs on a physical iPhone connected to Apple's iMessage network. If even two or three contacts tap **Report Junk**, Apple may stop delivering messages from your number entirely. These guardrails keep your number in good standing.

---

**What about SMS fallback?**
If a contact is not reachable on iMessage, Atlas can fall back to SMS or RCS depending on your plan. SMS fallback is intended for two-way conversations — carriers filter SMS content that looks like marketing and may not deliver it. RCS provides delivery and read receipts and is the recommended fallback for outbound campaigns.

---

**How long for a new phone number to go live?**
Up to 24 hours after purchase. You'll receive an email when ready.

---

**Can I test my agent before going live?**
Yes. Use the **Test Messaging** button on the campaign detail page.
